A major sports event and the missing PLN 100 million. Subsidies under the microscope of the tax office

The company, which received public subsidies of PLN 570 million for the organization of the European Games, underestimated the VAT on the subsidy by over PLN 100 million – according to information provided by the National Tax Administration (KAS), which, after the inspection, submitted two notifications to the prosecutor's office regarding the company's activities.
