Residents of Russia became more often interested in museums located in Siberia. Since the beginning of the year, traffic on their sites has increased by 27 %, compared with the same period last year. Internet resources are actively visited by Megafon subscribers living from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin.

The experts of the operator analyzed the impersonal appeals and chose the most popular museums, mandatory for visiting for those who are fond of cultural tourism.

Museum of World Burial Culture, Novosibirsk. The only museum in Russia dedicated to the funeral traditions of various peoples of the world. It is included in the program for preserving the world heritage of funeral culture under UNESCO. The basis of the collections are exhibits of 19 – early 20 centuries. In total, the museum contains several tens of thousands of exhibition items, among them mourning dresses, models of hearse, engravings, paintings and sculptures. For several years in a row, the museum has been holding a leading position on the activity of Internet users-since the beginning of the year, traffic has increased by 39 %. In addition to Novosibirsk, the site is actively visited by residents of Moscow, the Kemerovo and Tomsk regions, the Altai Territory and St. Petersburg. Most of all, the topic of the museum is interesting for online users from 35 to 44 years old-they account for 48 % of the total data. Next is the age group of 25-34 years (30 %), another 9 % of the traffic “generates” the audience from 18 to 24 years. As analytics shows, women go to the Internet site much more often than men-63 % versus 37 %.

Retropark, Novokuznetsk. The largest Museum of Automotorics for the Urals, opened by a businessman-method as a 400th anniversary of Novokuznetsk. Museum “Investigative Prison of the NKVD”, Tomsk. The museum takes 180 square meters and includes a reconstructed prison corridor, a camera for the investigated prisoners, as well as the interior of the investigator’s office. In the four other rooms of the basement, there is a permanent exhibition of the museum and the exhibition hall. The library works at the museum, a video and photo archive are formed, a collection of archival documents and publications in periodicals related to the tragic periods of Russian history. It is noteworthy, but judging by the traffic on the site, residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are not interested in the museum as actively as, for example, users from Moscow, Ulyanovsk and Samara regions, St. Petersburg and Yakutia. The most frequent visitors are millennials (35-44) and Zumers (14-17)-each age group is a third of all users. The gender ratio looks like this: 61 % of men and 39 % of a woman.
