The independent candidate Nicușor Dan posted on his Facebook page a photo in which he appears alongside the interim president Ilie Bolojan, at the Cotroceni Palace, where the electoral debate from which George Simion is missing.

Nicușor Dan, the independent candidate who entered the 2nd round of the presidential elections on May 18, met on Thursday night with Ilie Bolojan at the Cotroceni Palace. The context of the meeting was represented by the participation of Nicușor Dan in the debate organized by TVR1 even in the building that takes place his job. George Simion is not present at the debate, which ticks another absence.
Nicușor Dan and Ilie Bolojan did not miss the opportunity for a photo in which they shake their hands.
“Romania has hope. The road to stability requires seriousness and will. I thank Mr. President Ilie Bolojan, who wished me success before the debate organized by TVR, at the Cotroceni Palace, where my counter-candidate did not present“, Nicușor Dan wrote on the Facebook page.
In the election campaign, Nicușor Dan pronounced several times the name of Ilie Bolojan as a possible prime minister of Romania.
