The manager of the Krasnoyarsk football club was not deprived of freedom for mediation in bribery

In Krasnoyarsk, a court took place in the case of the manager of the Yenisei football club, which was suspected of mediation in a commercial bribery.

The prosecutor’s office reminded that at the beginning of 2024, the Krasnoyarsk College of the Olympic Reserve transferred the club for free use the stadium named after Lenin Komsomol. In August, the deputy director for marketing invited the supply manager to earn money. He considered that at the stadium you can place retail outlets and advertising, receiving money from entrepreneurs for this.

The manager had to find interested organizations, agree with them, and then transfer the money received by the deputy director of the sports club.

“In August 2024, between ANO FC Yenisei and Azat LLC, an agreement was concluded for advertising and food trade during sports events at the Central Stadium worth 150 thousand rubles. However, in fact, the contractor was not going to place advertising, and the deal was only an attempt to create an illusion of the legality of the actions of the accomplices. Having suspected the fraud, the businessman turned to law enforcement agencies, ”the press service said.

After that, under the control of law enforcement officers, the entrepreneur transferred 550 thousand rubles to the defendant, who half transferred to the organizer of the crime to the bank account, and left the rest for himself.

During the trial, the club employee pleaded guilty: “A dialogue was held between me and the deputy director, during which he said that we were paid a low salary, they did not give out bonuses, and invited me to earn money by criminal activity.”

The court found the manager guilty of mediation in a commercial bribery (paragraphs “b”, “c” of part 2 of article 204.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to conditional deprivation of liberty for a term of 1 year and 6 months with a trial of 2 years and a fine of 1.65 million rubles with a deprivation of the right to organize sports events.

The criminal case against the deputy director of the sports club is under consideration in court.
