In Krasnoyarsk, the court sentenced a 56-year-old citizen of Armenia to deprivation of liberty for 2 years and 9 months in the case On illegal extraction of a sand-gravel mixture (PGS) for more than 74 million rubles.

It was established that with May 2020 to June 2023, a foreigner without the right to stay in Russia and license mined crushed stone, sand and gravel in the Esaul and Sololian village councils of the Emelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
For this, he issued several land plots that previously belonged to his acquaintance.

He organized the production thoroughly: he attracted employees and special equipment, provided for crushing minerals, which he sold through a sub -ground organization. A bank account was specially opened for mutual settlements. As a result, the defendant illegally obtained and realized at least 290 thousand cubic meters of the ASD, which caused damage to the state in the amount of more than 74 million rubles. From the sale of minerals, the businessman earned more than 61 million rubles. He legalized 8 million rubles, having bought the Excavator of the Doosan brand, ”the prosecutor’s office said.

The court found the foreigner guilty of illegal entrepreneurship (part 1 of article 171 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the legalization of funds (paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He will serve the deadline in a general regime colony. The man is also fined 100 thousand rubles.
