Changing the choice at the last minute? A serious warning for Nawrocki and Hołownia [SONDAŻ]


In the UCE Research study, on behalf of Onet, Poles were asked: “Is there a scenario possible in which you can change your mind before Sunday voting and finally cast your vote for another person than intended?“.

The “definitely not” option was chosen by over a third of respondents (34.7 percent). In turn, this possibility “rather” excludes 30.8 percent. people.
As much as 25.1 percent allow the possibility of changing the candidate at the last minute. people (“rather yes” – 16.1 percent; “definitely yes” – 9 percent of respondents). 9.4 percent respondents chose the option: “I don't know/hard to say.”
Voters of the third road are the most inclined to change decisions. Among them, this answer was marked by 32.9 percent. people (“definitely yes” – 9 percent; “rather yes” – 23.9 percent). The “Rather not” option was chosen by 38.8 percent. respondents, and “definitely not” – 16.4 percent people. The answer “I don't know/difficult to say” indicated 11.9 percent in this group. people.
In second place, when it comes to changing the candidate, there are voters of Law and Justice. This option is allowed by 30.8 percent. respondents (“definitely yes” – 12.3 percent; “rather yes” – 18.5 percent). “Rather” is 22.5 percent on them. respondents, and “definitely not” – 38.8 percent “I don't know/hard to say” indicated 7.9 percent. respondents.

Among the left voters, the change of candidate is allowed by 27.2 percent. people (“definitely yes” – 10.2 percent; “rather yes” – 17 percent). The “Rather not” option was chosen by 36.4 percent. respondents, and “definitely not” – 26.1 percent The answer “I do not know/difficult to say” indicated 10.2 percent. people.
Confederation voters are less allowed to change the candidate to a lesser extent. This possibility was indicated by 22.6 percent. respondents (“definitely yes” – 9.5 percent; “rather yes” – 13.1 percent). “Rather” on them is 39.9 percent. respondents, and “definitely not” – 29.2 percent “I don't know/hard to say” indicated 8.3 percent. respondents.
The farthest to change the candidate is voters of the Civic Coalition. Here, this option is considered only by 15.4 percent. respondents (“definitely yes” – 6.4 percent; “rather yes” – 9 percent). The “Rather not” option was selected by 29.4 percent. respondents, and “definitely not” – 50.4 percent The answer “I do not know/difficult to say” indicated 5 percent. people.
The UCE Research study at the request of Onet was conducted on 12-13.05.2025 by the CAWI method at a sample of 1006 adult Poles aged 18-80 who intend to vote in the May election for the President of the Republic of Poland.
