An average earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 degrees occurred on Sunday evening, in the Vrancea seismic area, with no material damage or victims, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) announced, Agerpres reports.
“On May 11, 2025 at 21:34:57 (local time of Romania), an average earthquake with ML 4.4, at a depth of 125.0km. The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 50km V by Focsani, 59km N de Buzau, 64km, 64km E, 73km, 73km, 73km.
