If Russian President Vladimir Putin will not consent to a cessation of fire in Ukraine, we will have to go further with sanctions and target the financial and oil sectors, the head of French diplomacy said on Sunday, AFP reports.
“What was said yesterday (Saturday-no) by European leaders (who participated in a Summit-no) is that if Putin does not consent to a cessation of fire, we will have to do more than this new sanctions package and seek to target the financial sector and the oil sector, as the Americans are preparing to do it,”
Ukraine and its European allies, in concert with the US, on Saturday addressed a Moscow ultimatum to accept a cease “complete and unconditional” of 30 days, in the absence of which Russia would expose new “massive sanctions”.

“More and more, Vladimir Putin is sprouted and will have to take steps to peace because the pressure will not cease to accentuate,” said Jean-Noel Barrot.
“Russia is ready for negotiations without any prior condition (…) We propose to start next Thursday, on May 15, in Istanbul,” Vladimir Putin told Kremlin, during Saturday night, postponing to these discussions any possibility of establishing the fire required by Kiev Allies
