The supporters of the Romanian national bought an impressive number of tickets for the match with Cyprus (June 10) in just two hours after their sale.
Romania will continue in June the qualification campaign at the World Championship in 2026. After playing in Austria on June 7, “tricolors” will return to the National Arena on June 10 for the match with Cyprus (9:45 pm).
15,000 tickets sold in Romania – Cyprus in just two hours
The tickets for the match with Cyprus were for sale on Friday, May 9, around noon, and after only two hours, on the national Facebook page was made: 15,000 tickets sold.
“The first 15,000 tickets for the Romania-Cyprus match on June 10 were exhausted in just two hours!appeared on the Facebook page of the national team ”.
It is expected that the sale of tickets will continue at an accelerated pace, and the match will be disputed with a large assistance.
Romania and Cyprus met twice in the last edition of the League of Nations, and Mircea Lucescu's students won the tour, 3-0 away and 4-1 on their own ground.
After two matches played, Romania ranks second in Group H, with 3 points. It is followed by Cyprus, which has as many points. Austria, the next opponent, is the only one who has not yet played any match.
Bosnia is the leader of the group, with two victories of two possible. On March 21, the Bosnians prevailed in Bucharest with a score of 1-0.
