The supporters of the Romanian national bought an impressive number of tickets for the match with Cyprus (June 10) in just two hours after their sale.

15,000 tickets sold in Romania – Cyprus in just two hours

The tickets for the match with Cyprus were for sale on Friday, May 9, around noon, and after only two hours, on the national Facebook page was made: 15,000 tickets sold.

It is expected that the sale of tickets will continue at an accelerated pace, and the match will be disputed with a large assistance.

Romania and Cyprus met twice in the last edition of the League of Nations, and Mircea Lucescu's students won the tour, 3-0 away and 4-1 on their own ground.

After two matches played, Romania ranks second in Group H, with 3 points. It is followed by Cyprus, which has as many points. Austria, the next opponent, is the only one who has not yet played any match.
