In Krasnoyarsk, the court sentenced the former head of the regional housing construction fund Sergei Berdousov.
The press service of the courts of the region reminded that he was accused of abuse of authority (part 2 of article 201 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Earlier, the prosecutor’s office reported that in 2019, the fund received a subsidy for the construction and purchase of housing for state employees from the regional budget. But in 2020, Sergey Berdousov ordered to transfer part of the residential premises of the subordinate organization Foninvest, and then sold 16 more apartments to the same legal entity and citizens. Inaccurate information was entered into the reporting documents. The damage was estimated at 99 million rubles.
The Kirovsky District Court found Sergei Berdousov to be guilty and punished 5 years in prison with a colony of general regime. Two years after the dismissal, he will not be able to occupy positions related to management in the field of housing construction.

Recall that Sergey Berdousov led the fund from December 2013 to December 2022, after which he was dismissed by decision of the board. But in October 2023, the court recognized the dismissal illegal and obliged to restore Berdousov with the payment of the average salary for the entire period. But, apparently, he did not return to work – Since February 2023, the Foundation has been led by Nikolai Chuprin.
