Juri Cisotti (31 years old) and Elias Charalambous (44 years old) awarded their prizes for the player, respectively the coach of April. The Italian striker gets the first trophy in the “best” project, while coach Cypriot is at the fourth, after April and November 2024, plus February 2025
For the trophy “Player of April”, Gazeta nominated 5 footballers: Juri Cisotti (FCSB), Gicu Grozav (Petroleum), Frederic Maciel (Otelul Galați), Louis Munteanu (CFR Cluj) and Ianis Stoica (Hermannstadt).
On the preliminary list were: Ștefan Baiaram (Craiova University), Denis Alibec (Farul), Mohammed Kamara (CFR Cluj) and Răzvan Tănasa (Steel Galați).
Juri Cisotti won the “Player of the Moon” award
The winner of April was appointed for the first time Juri Cisotti, from FCSB!
The Italian shines in the champion shirt, and April has been the best so far for the 31 -year -old striker.
He managed a “double” in the 3-2 victory against CFR Cluj, plus a goal scored in the match with Rapid, contributing decisively to the first victory of the FCSB in Giulești after 11 years.
Cisotti became the new idol of the supporters and the player on which the superliges regret to miss.
Elias Charalambous, for the fourth “coach of the moon”!
At the second category, “the coach of the month”, the newspaper nominated 3 technicians: Laszlo Balint (Otelul Galati), Elias Charalambous (FCSB) and Marius Măldărășanu (Hermannstadt).
On the preliminary list were: Dan Petrescu (CFR Cluj), Florin Maxim (Corvinul), Cristi Chivu (Inter Milan) and Bogdan Andone (FC Argeș).
Unbeaty in April, the champions of Romania continue the triumphal march to a new title in Superliga. Charalambous has the great merit of being transformed into FCSB into a real force, but also into a united family, which has not lost 20 matches!
In April, FCSB won important victories, with U Cluj (1-0), CFR Cluj (3-2) and Rapid (2-1), plus an equal, with Craiova University (0-0), which keep it in the first position.

How to vote for the “player of the month” and “coach of the moon”
The algorithm used to establish the winners is a very simple one. The GSP editorial is the nominations, based on statistics and clear performance figures, then vote 3 categories: GSP.ro readers, editorial journalists and five specialists (former footballers or important coaches), which change from one month to another. The first ranked in each top receives 5 points, the one on the 2nd place, 4 points, etc. GSP editorial vote matters double.
