Elections in Hungary. Ukraine withdraws recommendations to citizens

The politician also stated that “the choice of the Hungarian people showed the desire of Hungarians to live in peace, security and prosperity – to live in a truly independent Hungary, which is part of a united and free Europe, and not Moscow's sphere of influence, a space of lawlessness and intimidation.” He also noted that the choice of the Hungarians means the failure of the blackmail policy and anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

“I would also like to encourage Ukrainians to have realistic expectations. We have meticulous, pragmatic and calm work ahead of us to find points of contact, restore mutual respect and pursue common, pragmatic interests. Our nations deserve us to go down this path, and we will work to restore good neighborly relations in the interest of our two countries and the whole of Europe,” concluded the minister.

Elections in Hungary. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine withdraws the recommendations

At the beginning of March The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Ukrainians to refrain from traveling to Hungary in connection with the arrest of Ukrainian collectors by the authorities of this country. The State Bank of Ukraine Oshchadbank confirmed reports that the Hungarian authorities detained the cars of the collector's service and seven bank employees.

According to the results based on almost 99 percent. of the counted votes, Peter Magyar's TISZA party can count on 138 seats in the 199-seat Hungarian parliament after Sunday's parliamentary elections. The Fidesz-KDNP coalition led by current Prime Minister Viktor Orban won 55 seats. The far-right Mi Hazank party will also enter parliament and can expect six seats.
