However, the company is still a long and difficult path to healing the financial situation and restoring a strong market position” – commented on Monday on Platform X financial results of Poczta Polska for 2024, the head of the Ministry of State Asset Jakub Jaworowski.

The company reminded that the current model of the universal postal service requires funding from the state.

The entire capital group of Poczta Polska, which includes Bank Pocztowy, Pocztowe Life Insurance Company, or Poczta Polska Digital Services also improved the results against 2023. Consolidated revenues from sales increased by PLN 211 million, i.e. by 3 percent. EBITDA amounted to PLN 306 million against minus PLN 314 million in 2023. The consolidated gross result improved by PLN 561 million in annual terms and amounted to PLN 93 million. The consolidated net loss dropped by PLN 456 million to PLN 5 million.

The company reported that it is planning to increase investments in 2025, “especially in the IT area to increase the security and automation of business processes, which aims to further transform and build the value of the organization.”
