The candidate of the PSD-PNL-UDMR alliance, Crin Antonescu, arrived at the polling station at the 12 Herăstrau High School in Bucharest, together with his wife and daughter.
At the exit to vote, he was welcomed by foreign journalists, in front of which he wanted to highlight the fact that the Romanians came to a record number to vote, and a massive presence represents a moral force for the future president.
“It is a very important day. I am glad that after the first indications we have both in the diaspora and on the territory of the country, a massive presence, perhaps a record presence. This is an extraordinary thing for the legitimacy of these elections, for the moral force of the future president. I am glad that Romanians vote, I hope to do it throughout the day.” Crin Antonescu pointed out.
“I voted for a united Romania, for a strong Romania, for a worthy Romania”, said the PSD-PNL-UDMR candidate in terms of his option.
“I am glad to look forward, I hope there is a force behind Romania in the future that will allow us to rise as other EU member countries, to have a strong representation on the outside as we have seen all my foreign political career, with confidence and God to help us,” said his wife, Adina Vălean.
