Russia declares emergency state in a Black Sea port after Ukrainian drone attack on Novorossiisk

The mayor of the Russian port city Novorossiisk said on Saturday, the emergency after the local authorities announced that a Ukrainian drone attack had damaged a cereal terminal and several residential buildings, injuring five people, reports Reuters.
Andrei Kravchenko, the mayor of Novorossisk, located on the Black Sea coast, was filmed, inspecting the damage caused to three apartment buildings, in a video published on his official Telegram account.
In the video you can see scattered debris in front of apartment buildings, a destroyed car, broken windows and balconies hanging from the facade of buildings, according to Reuters.
Kravchenko said that one of the injured, a woman, is in the hospital in serious condition. The local authorities also stated that two children were injured.
The governor of the Krasnodar region of southern Russia, Veniamin Kondratyev, said that the debris of the fallen drones also damaged three storage units of a cereal terminal in Novorossiisk, causing a fire. He said that no victims were registered.
Delo Group, the owner of the damaged cereal terminal, said in a statement that the cleaning operations are in progress and that the fire was extinguished.
“The Delports terminals work normally, in accordance with the internal instructions and the instructions of the authorities and the competent agencies,” the company said.
