Todoran's career has taken a negative turn after the short “red-blue” adventure, held four years ago. Chosen by Gigi Becali to prepare FCSB because he has “human value”, the coach has not been able to find a band from the first league.

Since then, two more mandates have followed, in the second teams of Petolul and FC Voluntari. The main one is willing to continue in Liga 4 with Codlea, if FRF will not give the club a new possibility to evolve in the third division.

Invited by the Romanian Football Federation to evolve in Liga 3 after losing the promotion dam with Cil Blaj, in the summer of 2024, ACSM Codlea and Dinu Todoran returned to the fourth league after only one season.

The Brasovians started the championship with Ovidiu Roman on the bench, and from the 12th round, after a bad path, they turned to the former FCSB coach.

Codlea had to be satisfied only with the play-out, a phase of the competition in which he never managed to mark. The “white-blue” have relegated mathematically from the fifth stage of the play-out, after the 3-0, away, in front of Unirea Dej.

On Friday, in Cugir, it was his turn Metallurgist to administer a new Codle's new failure: 5-0.

“Unfortunately we did not succeed more although we knew it would be very difficult to save ourselves. We are important to finish the season and gather more points. It will be a large project, with clear performance goals. We will submit a request to FRF to continue in Liga 3, and if there will be no places we will play in Liga 4 Brașov,” said the coach.
