Luis Enrique's contract with PSG expires in exactly the same year, 2027, as Hansi Flick's at Barcelona.
Daniel Riolo, a very popular journalist in France, known for his controversial statements, claims that Luis Enrique's marriage to Paris St. Germain won't last long.
Although the Spanish technician has extended his contract with PSG until 2027, Riolo believes that this aspect is of little relevance. In an interview with France Bleu, he questioned Enrique's true commitment to the Parisian club and everything it stands for.
Journalist Daniel Riolo claims that Luis Enrique is the type who “constantly changes teams”
“I am much more critical of those who idolize him than of him personally. I honestly don't see the human qualities they represent. It's 100% Barça. He is someone who constantly changes teams”, says the French journalist.
Interestingly, Luis Enrique's new deal with the French champions ends just as Hansi Flick's deal with Barcelona also expires, fueling speculation.
The Spanish coach kept repeating that he is very happy in Paris and that he wants to continue “this story with PSG. I feel great here. We have everything we need to work in the best conditions. I think the future looks incredible and I hope to have a lot of success with the clubBut fewer and fewer believe that he really speaks from the heart.
Luis Enrique really is one hundred percent Barcelona
Luis Enrique wore the Barcelona shirt for 8 years, between 1996 and 2004, when he ended his playing career. Between 2008 and 2011 he trained the club's B team, and after spending time at Roma (2011 – 2012) and Celta Vigo (2013 – 2014), he returned to the Blaugrana group, this time as head coach (2014 – 2017).
After 7 trophies won with the Catalans as a player, Enrique triumphed with Barca twice in La Liga, won 3 Cups and the Spanish Super Cup, and internationally he took the cream: the Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Championship, all in 2015.
