Sepsi-Sic Sfântu Gheorghe won the title of national champion this season, after defeating CSM Târgoviște with the general score of 3-2, imposing on Wednesday night, traveling in the decisive match of the National Female League final with 69-64 (14-25).
Sepsi-Sic passed on Wednesday evening in his eighth champion title, after 2016, 2017, 2019, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The band from Sfântu Gheorghe imposed 3-2 in general in front of CSM Târgoviște.

The team from Târgoviște won the first match of the final, playing after the “best of five” system, on their own ground, with 72-58, but Sepsi-Sic equalized the situation, after 65-51.
Sepsi won with a difference of only five points last match
Sepsi-Sic took over the management after winning the first match from home, with 66-43, but the Dâmbovițean band won in the fourth match with 53-51, losing the title match on their own ground.
In the decisive match, the hosts had a very good first quarter, ended with 25-14, but Sepsi-Sic managed to recover the difference in the second quarter. The game was still balanced, but the guests managed to make the difference in the last minutes, imposing with 69-64 (14-25. 21-10, 12-11, 22-18).
Sepsi was noted the Joycelyn Johnson field, with 18 points and 10 recovery, and from Leilani Lakell Mcintosh, 20 with points and 3 recovery. CSM Târgoviște remains with 12 champion titles, the last obtained in 2015. The champion was CSM Constanța, after last season had defeated Sepsi in the final.
