Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to study at the Higher School of Hotel Management

In 2025, the Institute of Gastronomy of the Siberian Federal University opened an educational program for training specialists in the hotel business – the Higher School of Hotel Management, which meets the most modern requirements of the industry.

The national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” sets ambitious goals for the industry. By 2030, the number of tourism professionals should reach 4.7 million people. That is why training qualified personnel becomes a priority.

The main advantage of the new program is a double diploma. Graduates receive a diploma from SFU in the direction of “Management” and a diploma of professional retraining in one of the areas:

  • Development and examination of an investment project;
  • Real estate valuation and management.

Over four years, students master the fundamentals of the industry, international service standards and modern methods of personnel management: operational processes, marketing, financial management, personnel management and strategic development of the hotel business.

The educational process in the hotel complex of the Siberian Federal University Institute of Gastronomy allows you to experiment with innovative solutions in the field of service and design. Students apply the acquired knowledge in their first professional practice in famous hotels in Krasnoyarsk – Hilton Garden Inn, Novotel and Amaks already in the first month of training.

The final stage of training includes an in-depth study of hotel management and a mandatory internship. Thanks to partnerships with leading hotels, including a five-star complex in Sochi.

The professional training of graduates guarantees their successful employment in the hotel business. The acquired competencies allow specialists not only to occupy leadership positions in hotel complexes, but also to successfully implement large-scale development projects.

An important advantage of graduates is their readiness for professional growth in both the Russian and international labor markets.
