Completions from the Ploieşti Court of Appeal are expected to judge, on Wednesday, two other files in requesting the suspension and annulment of the December 2024 Decision of the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR), by which the presidential elections were annulled, according to news.ro.

The administrative litigation section within the Ploieşti Court of Appeal judges, on Wednesday, two more files in which the suspension is required until the final sentence and the annulment of the CCR decision by which the presidential election last year was annulled.

Previously, the same court gave contradictory decisions in the case that have the same object.

Last week, a judge decided to suspend the execution of the Decision no. 32 of the RCC, a solution contradicted by the High Court of Cassation and Justice to the appeal, while magistrates from other courts at the Ploiesti Court of Appeal rejected the requests to annul the CCR decision, on the grounds that the court does not have the jurisdiction to do so.

Three other files with the same object were in the role of the Ploiesti Court of Appeal on Tuesday, two of them being resolved with the rejection of the applications, and the third to be resolved.

In the role of the Ploieşti Court of Appeal, a total of 11 files were registered, which have as object the suspension and annulment of the decision 32 of the CCR. Four of these are to be judged.

One hundred courts in the country – both judges and courts, respectively courts of appeal – registered on April 28 requests regarding the cancellation of the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) on the annulment of the elections of 2024, shows the centralized data by HotNews.ro on the portal of the court.

At the same time, on Tik Tok and Facebook, Călin Georgescu's supporters are preparing the “last attempt 2 back”: actions in courts asking the decree regarding the appointment of Marcel Ciolacu, respectively of the Government decisions regarding the organization of the presidential elections in May.
