The Sokol sports martial arts center in Divnogorsk Krasnoyarsk Territory received a bus as a gift from the Oleg Deripaska Foundation Free Delo.
Comfortable transport will allow young athletes to travel to federal competitions, open sparring and training camps in other cities of Siberia. This will help to increase skill – the guys learn to cope with emotions on the tatami, are aware of their level of training and understand what is needed to achieve results.
“We have long dreamed that children could gather at any time and safely get to the place of competition or training base. Previously, everyone had to get their own strokes, attract parents, many did not always succeed, and the children simply missed tournaments. We see how this affects the results, and we are glad that now our falcon will have more opportunities for victories, ”said Alexei Mayorov, a judo coach of the Sokol sports martial arts center.
Last weekend, young sambohists have already tested transport – they visited the All -Russian Tournament for Sambo Memory of A. M. Astakhov and E.V. Agafonov, who took place in Krasnoyarsk. There, the pupil of the Falcon Sergey Skorobogatov took first place.
“I am a station wagon, a master of sports of the international class in judo and sambist. Since childhood, I was trained at once by two types of martial arts and sent to different competitions. It is always nice to represent the hometown and the club in tournaments, and I am glad that the falconers will now do this more often, ”said Sergey Skorobogatov.

The Sokol Sports Center in Divnogorsk, built by the Oleg Deripaska Foundation, opened in the spring of 2025. Similar sports complexes also appeared in Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk and another 6 cities of Russia, in them more than 5 thousand children are engaged in karate, judo, sambo, freestyle wrestling and other martial arts. The coaches of the Siberian “Sokolov” are already preparing a program of events on the exchange of experience.
“We dream of our own large tournament for the pupils of the Sokol centers from all over Russia.
