At least PLN 8 billion a year loses the economy due to insomnia and bad sleep, which over 40 percent complain about. citizens. Companies suffer because it significantly reduces employees' productivity – says “Rzeczpospolita”.


The study conducted by UCE Research and the online psychotherapy platform Epsycholży.pl shows that 41.4 percent Adult Poles are not satisfied with the quality of their dream.
“Sources of stress are varied – from professional pressure, through the family situation, to the feeling of overloading duties and lack of time to rest. Chronic tension makes it difficult to fall asleep, causes more frequent awakening and means that sleep does not have a regenerative function” – said psychologist Michał Murgrabia, president of the Platform of Epsichologists. pl.
“Rz” draws attention to estimates saying that the loss of the economy resulting from this phenomenon is about PLN 8 billion a year. “These losses do not include the costs of replacing employees, recruitment processes, lost benefits related to the departure of clients, so the phenomenon may have a much larger scale. In the USA, total losses can reach up to $ 1.4 tributes.” – informs the newspaper.
The situation is aggravated by the abuse of technology. “Excessive use of social media is a growing civilization problem, which will deepen with increasingly common access to smartphones and remote work.
