A dangerous heat wave in the USA. At least three people are dead


New York Governor, Kathy Hochul, announced a state of emergency in 32 counties due to violent storms and immeasurable heat. The office of the Sheriff of Oneida announced that among the fatalities of the storms that knocked down the trees to the houses in the central part of the state, there are two children. In the town of Kirkland in a few hours a dozen or so centimeters of rain fell, causing local flooding.

The weather threatening health is expected to stay at least until Wednesday.
Another day of extreme temperatures
Sunday was the second day of extreme temperatures – heat indexes reached 39 degrees Celsius in Chicago and 38 degrees Celsius in Madison (Wisconsin). In Pittsburgh, thermometers showed over 40 degrees Celsius, A in Columbus (Ohio) around 40 degrees C.
Forecasts for the next days provide even more severe heat: in Philadelphia on Monday thermometers can indicate even over 42 degrees Celsius, in New York on Monday and Tuesday around 35 degrees Celsius, and in Boston and Washington on Tuesday and Wednesday to 37.7 degrees C. With high humidity, the felt temperature will be even higher.
