In Krasnoyarsk, a network of underground casinos worked under the guise of bookmakers (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, operatives of the economic security of the regional police stopped the activities of the underground casino. The regional trail opened a criminal case.

The police said that the organizers of illegal games hid their business under the guise of bookmakers. They were located in non -residential premises of ten houses in Krasnoyarsk, as well as another “office“ had in Achinsk and Kansk. The premises had computer equipment, furniture and means for conspiracy of illegal activities. Attackers hired staff providing uninterrupted work of the institution.

Employees of the Department of Economic Security and Countering Corruption collected materials on the basis of which 10 criminal cases were instituted on the illegal organization and conduct of gambling (part 3 of article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Later they were connected in one production. Attackers can threaten up to 6 years in a colony.

The Investigative Department of the IC of the Russian Federation said that three Krasnoyarsk residents were detained. They organized illegal business in the summer of 2021.

“As a result of the operational-search measures on April 29, 2025, illegal gambling was stopped. During the searches, more than 200 computers were seized by investigators, funds in the total amount of about 500 thousand rubles, documentation and other items of illegal gambling activities“, – The investigators told.

In the investigation, they do not exclude that there may be more involved in the organization of illegal activities of people. Investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime.
