The President of Ukraine reacts to Blackout. “Our experts are ready”

“Over the years of war and Russian attacks on our energy system, Ukraine has gained significant experience in overcoming all energy challenges, including power outages,” reminded Zielnski on Monday.
He emphasized that Ukrainian specialists “can join the repair actions” in Spain, and he offered such help in a Monday conversation with the prime minister of this country Pedro Sanchez.
“I recommended to the Ukrainian energy minister to work as soon as possible. Our technical experts are ready to help,” added Zelanski.
Blackout in Spain and Portugal
The Ukrainian Minister for Energy Herman Hałuszczenko has already expressed the readiness to support Portugal and Spain authorities.
“We are ready to share our knowledge and experience, including those gained during systematic Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure,” wrote Hałuszczenko on Platform X.
The Monday power break paralyzed street traffic in Spain and Portugal – it grounded planes and stopped the railway, imprisoned many people in elevators and subway wagons, and prevented telephone contact and internet access.
