More information soon.
According to Indian media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Indian army has “full operational freedom in deciding on the manner, goals and time of reaction.”
Escalation between India and Pakistan
The escalation of tensions between neighboring countries took place after a terrorist attack that occurred on Tuesday near the city of Pahalgam. 26 people were killed and 17 were injured.
India accused Pakistan of responsibility for this act of terror, which they described as “the most deadly attack on civilians in the region since 2000”. Pakistan immediately rejected these accusations, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif found them “unfounded” and demanded a “neutral investigation.”
The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi promised to prosecute “terrorists” and their partners “until the end of the world”.
