The Kremlin for the first time confirms the presence of soldiers from North Korea in the Kurski region

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, General Walerij Gierasimow, informed on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin about the total “liberation” of the Kurski District, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskow in a statement provided by the Russian TASS information agency.

The general staff of Ukraine denied the reports that Kurski's region was reflected, claiming that although Ukrainian forces were in a “difficult” situation, they effectively resisted the lap and replied several Russian land attacks.
The Kremlin also expressed gratitude to North Korean soldiers arranged in the region to support Russia's efforts. Gierasimow praised them “fortitude and heroism”says the Interfax agency. This is the first case when the Kremlin officially confirmed the presence of North Korean troops, whose number, according to the estimates of Ukraine and South Korea, can be up to 11,000.
