– The situation remains difficult in many sectors. Only until the middle of today there were almost 70 Russian attacks on our positions. Fighting is still ongoing. The occupier continues the offensive attempts. (…) Most of the fights took place in the Pokrowa, Krama, Łymanian and Kurski directions. Our military people continue active defense activities in some regions of the Kurski and Belgorodz Districts – said Zelanski.
Zelanski thanked Ukrainian soldiers
The President of Ukraine also thanked every brigade, all soldiers who defend Ukrainian positions and demonstrate the immunity that Ukraine needs. He also emphasized that the world must increase pressure on Russia to end the war.
– Ukraine still defends its independence and land in battles. The situation on the front and the actual activity of the Russian army prove that international pressure to Russia to end this war is not enough – Zelanski emphasized.
In turn, the Russian Information Agency TASS, citing information provided by the spokesman of the Kremlin Dmitry Pieskowa, said that Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the commanders of Russian units in connection with the “liberation of the Kurski District”. – Putin congratulated them on their victory and thanked them for the heroic work Said Pieskov.
The Russian leader also called to himself the commander of the group and commanders of the units who “stood out during the surgery”.
