Trade agreements are expected in three to four weeks – said US President Donald Trump in an interview with Time magazine. He noted that the US is conducting talks with China about a customs contract, which Beijing denies. He added that the leader of the PRC XI Jinping called him in this matter.

Trump said that “impossible” are both the current state in Washington's trade relations with Beijing, and what was before the president's office was. He emphasized that he could not allow China to “earn” trillions of dollars.
“That's why I repeat that when we have a sales deficit of $ 2 trillion, I consider it a loss” – said the US president. However, he did not provide any closer deadlines for any specific decisions on customs contracts with the PRC.
Trump stated that If in a year imports to the USA will be covered with duties up to 50 %, it will consider it his success.
He announced that in three to four weeks his administration would have ready trade agreements with individual countries. He added that his actions are aimed at returning industrial production to the USA and – as he emphasized – this is already happening.
“They come because they do not want to pay customs; they are not if they produce their products here. This is a huge success. You just don't know it yet, but what is happening is a huge success. We absorb (as a country – PAP) billions of dollars. It has never been before” – said the American leader.
In this context, Trump mentioned the return to North Carolina of furniture manufacturers, as well as the transfer of car production from Mexico to the USA. “It is easy to accept zero customs rates, but no company would come (to us – PAP),” he said.
