In Krasnoyarsk, employees of the police department No. 10 returned the 73-year-old man part of the money stolen from him by telephone scammers-2.2 million rubles.

It was established that in September last year, a pseudo -employee of an analytical company called grandfather and offered to invest in a high interest in exchange trading. The girl talked about the possibility of predicting which deposits will be profitable and allowed to accumulate for a comfortable old age. The man believed and, according to the instructions of the scammers, carried out transfers to the platform, where his account was allegedly issued.

“As a result, from August to September, he gave them 3.5 million rubles, but he never received a profit,” the police said.

On the fact of fraud on an especially large scale, they opened a criminal case and found attackers. They managed to remove bOthe most of the abducted money and return to the victim. He thanked law enforcement officers and noted that he had not even hoped for this.
