To effectively protect himself against dangers, Santander recommends several key practices.
First of all, the bank emphasizes the importance of avoiding suspicious links and not dating its data in unverified internet forms.
Secondly, he recommends the use of complex slogans that are difficult to guess.
Thirdly, he advises activation wherever possible, two -stage authentication when logging in to various websites.
SMSs from abroad
The bank also points out that fraudsters' methods are constantly improved and may seem to be new and surprising victims. Recently, there are cases of fraud in which criminals use false phones from foreign numbers to persuade the victims to contact messengers and, consequently, extort valuable information from them.
Santander also reminds of the threat of SMSs containing crafted links leading to false forms. It is worth paying attention to the overworks of these messages that can be easily manipulated. In the case of suspicious messages, customers are encouraged to report them to analyze the CERT Polska team using the 8080 number.
The bank emphasizes that compliance with these simple rules can significantly increase network security and protect against potential financial losses and loss of privacy.
