A barrel of West Texas Intermediate in supply X costs at Nymex in New York 63.05 USD, higher by 0.57 percent.

Brent on ICE at XI is valued at USD 67.34 for a barrel, up by 0.32 percent.

Investors focus attention on pus trade from Russia, and US President Donald Trump appeals to Europe on limiting the flows of Russian raw material.

The US President estimated that European sanctions against Russia are insufficient and must be tightened before the US impose their own hard restrictions.

“They don't do what they should. NATO must take a grip, Europe must take a grip – Europeans are my friends, but they buy oil from Russia,” said Donald Trump during a conversation with journalists before returning to the White House from a weekend stay in their property in New Jersey.

“(…) Europe buys oil from Russia. I do not want them to buy oil, and the sanctions they apply are not harsh enough” – said the American president.

“I am ready to impose sanctions, but they (Europe) will have to exacerbate their sanctions, in proportion to what I do” – he added.

The US President said that he had already received response to his letter to NATO countries, in which he demanded to stop buying Russian oil before he imposes new sanctions against Russia.

Donald Trump said that NATO countries would fulfill his request and that “they know he is right.”

He also noted that he also meant shopping for Russian gas, as well as Russian oil re -exported by third countries.

Analysts indicate that while most European countries have limited or stopped purchasing Russian oil, several NATO members, including Hungary and Türkiye, still do it.

Meanwhile, investors also follow the development of the situation in the Middle East after Israel's attack on Qatar and after Ukraine's attacks on refineries and ports in Russia.

Israel carried out a raid of Doha last Tuesday. The purpose of the attack was to kill Hamas leaders residing there, according to previous reports, however, none of them died.

The attack caused a wave of firm criticism from, among others UN, European and Arab countries, as well as Qatar itself.

Qatar authorities convened the summit of the leaders of the region countries on Monday. It will take part in it, among others President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmud Abbas. According to the announcements among the expected guests, there are also Presidents of Iran and Turkey, Masud Pezeszkian and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In the resolution, which is to be adopted at the Monday summit of Arab and Muslim countries in Dosze, the critic of Israel is to be found for undermining the room and the perspective of normalization in the region.

According to the “Brutal Israeli attack on runny nose and the continuation of Israel's hostile activities, including genocide, ethnic purges, hunger, siege, colonization and political expansion activities, threaten the perspectives of peace and coexistence in the region.”

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian forces conducted a successful attack on the second largest oil refinery in Russia, located in the Leningrad District on Sunday night.

The purpose of the impact was an object located over 800 km from the border of Ukraine.

The Kiriszynftieftieorgsintz (Kinief) refinery in Kiriszy is the second largest oil processing plant in Russia after the refinery in Omsk and the main supplier of oil products for St. Petersburg, as well as Leningrad, Nowogrodzki and Pskowski.

The plant processes over 20 million tons of oil per year. It also produces about 80 types of products, including gasoline, diesel, mazut and aviation fuel, used, among others for the needs of the Russian army.
