The consistent amount received by a company controlled by Matei Păun from Nicușor Dan's campaign donations
Nicușor Dan, an independent candidate for the presidential elections, spent half of the donations received from the citizens with a company controlled by the businessman Matei Păun, considered to be his advisor.

Almost 50% of the donations received by the general mayor of the capital from citizens for the electoral precapania from the presidential elections were spent on invoices issued by Getica Ooh SRL, controlled by Matei Păun, according to Newsweek Romania.
Thus, Nicușor Dan's campaign staff decided that he would advertise in the pre-scam on the outer panels owned by this company, according to the quoted source. Between February 26, March 31, 2025, Getica Ooh SRL issued 20 invoices to the campaign staff totaling 1,091,614.66 lei (about 200,000 euros). According to their own statements, Nicușor Dan had received, until April 1, 2.8 million lei from 8,848 donors.
According to the law of financing the political parties and the candidates for positions in the Romanian state, they are obliged to declare only their income and expenses made in the election campaign, but not those in the electoral precapania.
From the analysis of these invoices, it appears that Matei Păun, considered the informal counselor of Nicușor Dan, invoiced prices 3-4 times lower than those requested to commercial customers. Newsweek has published several invoices issued by Getica Ooh to the candidate Nicușor Dan, but also to other economic agents.
According to the GTK0026372 invoice issued on 26.02.2025 by Getica Ooh SLR to buyer Dan Nicușor-Daniel were invoiced with a total value of 159.15 lei the use of advertising space in Sibiu, backlit 3.2×2.4 and with 181.48 use advertising space in Iași for a panel with the same dimensions.
Also, according to the invoice no. GTK002…, which was issued on 20.03.2025 to a commercial company for two panels similar to the same dimensions in Sibiu and Iași, were invoiced with a value of 1371.31 for two panels, ie 685.65 lei per panel.
It results from here huge differences between the prices paid by Nicușor Dan to the company that would be controlled by Matei Păun compared to the prices that this company invoices to other commercial customers.
Similar examples are found for other localities, as well as to other commercial customers compared to those offered to Nicușor Dan.
The independent candidate for presidential elections recently said that he was seen three times in 4 years with Matei Păun. It was discovered, however, that at least three such meetings have only occurred in recent months.
