State Duma deputy spoke about the main danger of ashlete maples for cities

The chairman of the Union of Dachnikov of the Moscow Region, State Duma deputy from the United Russia faction, Nikita Chaplin, called one of the main dangers, which the rolls of ash -to -thelert represent for cities.

According to him, in Moscow and the Moscow Region, public utilities annually have to eliminate the consequences of the exposure to the roots of trees on engineering networks, the foundations of residential buildings and landscaping objects. Most often, problems arise precisely because of the maple of the ashelic, which has both deep and superficial roots.

But not only the urban environment suffers from rapidly propagating seeds and root processes of maples.

“Summer people also incur significant losses. It is necessary to increase the awareness of citizens about the potential danger of such plants and develop effective methods of combating them, ”the deputy emphasized.

In Krasnoyarsk, according to experts, now up to 30% of all trees (147 054 copies) is a rolling maple. Initially, an uncharacteristic look for Siberia adapted to a harsh climate and gradually displaces the native species, and its root system is actively “growing” in the urban environment.

Since 2021, the Krasnoyarsk authorities have abandoned the use of a tree in landscaping due to its environmentally friendly aggressiveness and unsafe for the urban environment. Planting in the city of maple of ashelist and other plants that clog the territory during fruiting or causing mass allergic reactions during flowering is not allowed. Maple can only be included in the landscaping projects of sanitary protection zones.
