Pope Francis emptied the account before his death. It is known what 200,000 he spent on euro

Last week, Pope Francis made an unexpected visit to Roman prison of Regina Coeli, one of the most filled prisons in Italy to make wishes to prisoners before Easter.
Franciszek was in prison for about half an hour. He met a group of about 70 prisoners. “I wanted to be close to you,” he said, adding: “I pray for you and your families.”
Franciszek visited prisons throughout his 12-year pontificate, often on Holy Thursday.
After Francis' death on Monday, auxiliary bishop of Rome and prison delegate. Benoni Ambarus, who accompanied the Pope in this visit, told about his extraordinary gesture.
As the Italian Rai News Benoni Ambarus service writes, often referred to by the Pope as “Don Ben”, he shared the history of Francis about personal finances with the media. The Pope decided to support the draft pasta factory in the Casal del Marmo prison.
“I told him that we have a large mortgage for this pasta factory and if we manage to pay it back, we will lower the price of pasta, sell more and employ people” – reported the priest in an interview with the Ansa agency.
The Pope replied: “I almost exhausted all the money, but I still have a little on my account.” And he gave 200,000 euro.
