The Bank of Russia revealed a new scheme of deception when, under the guise of a loan, people receive a microse. Such practices were found in six credit organizations, two of which are systematically significant.

In their distance channels, banks offer citizens to receive borrowed funds, but at the same time they do not inform which contract will be concluded and with whom – with the bank or its subsidiary microfinance organization. This information is either not provided to the consumer at all, or is not brought clearly enough.

Clients often do not read the conditions, but simply sign a loan agreement with an SMS code. After all, they think that they conclude an agreement with the bank that they trust. But then it turns out that the money to the bank account came from a microfinance organization.

“The problem is that usually microloan rates are much higher than on loans. And if the borrower delayed payments, he may encounter the requirements of the MFI, which he did not even hear about. In order not to be in such a situation, always carefully study the documents before signing them. See which organization will give you the money, at what percentage and what will happen if you miss the payment, ”said the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the material for the portal on the financial culture portal.

The regulator sent the banks a requirement for a single time for everyone to change the approaches to informing.

Recall that if you are, in principle, you are not ready to draw up microloans, you can always install self -chamber on them. The Law on Self -Belief on Consumer loans and loans is in force in Russia from March 1, 2025. It implies a restriction that the bank applies to online operations at the request of the client. But at the same time it does not apply to a mortgage, car loans and educational loans with state support.

From the moment of the appearance of self -embodiment, 8.7 million citizens of the Russian Federation established him on loans.
