The Vatican's secret archives have long been a magnet for mystery – and now, for the extraterrestrial intrigue.

Spread over more than 80 kilometers of underground shelves, these very well -guarded documents have fed crazy speculations for centuries.

The proof of extraterrestrial life could be among these documents, writes the Daily Mail.

No matter how strange it may seem, recent testimonies of former US secret services claim that the Vatican and US government have worked together to investigate, massage and, most shocking, studying UFOs.

Following Pope Francis's death at the age of 88, in the Passover, Mark Christopher Lee, UFO and director investigator, asks the future Sovereign Pontiff to tell the truth.

Lee, who spent three decades studying the links between religion, history and extraterrestrial phenomena, argues that the Vatican could shelter hundreds of classified UFO observation files – some probably dating for centuries.

“If the Church is truly dedicated to spiritual truth and human enlighten Lee said in a statement.

He believes that many divine meetings described in religious texts, including in the Bible, could actually be wrongly interpreted observations. And he is not the only one who supports this theory.

An event that Lee is desperate to review is the infamous third secret from Fatima.

What happened to Fatima

In 1917, three young Portuguese shepherds claimed that they saw a bright appearance in the sky. The children and the Vatican have always claimed that she was the Virgin Mary. But Lee supports the opposite.

“If you read their original descriptions, what they wrote, it is actually spheres of light in the sky,” he told the Daily Mail.

“This was not the Virgin Mary,” he said before. “This was a non-human intelligence trying to communicate with us, and the Vatican knows this. ”

In 2000, the church published what he claimed is the full text of the so-called third secret. But many experts, including Lee, remain unconvinced.

“There are certainly secrets in the Vatican”, he insisted.

The recent testimonies of former American spies seem to support it.

David Grusch, a decorated aircraft officer who became UFO informant, said in a 2023 interview that the Catholic Church has been aware of the existence of extraterrestrial life for decades.

According to him, the Italian government recovered a crashed UFO during Mussolini's fascist regime, and the Vatican contributed to the case.

Grusch claimed that Pope Pius XII even “transmitted ” The details of the incident to the American information officers, who then intervened and confiscated the ship.

When he was directly asked if he believed that the church knew about the existence of aliens, Grusch did not hesitate. “Certainly”, he said.

Regarding the reasons that could cause the Vatican not to make public his alleged knowledge about aliens, Lee suspects that they could come from the concern of the Church not to cause panic or not to shake the faith of people.

“Why should we believe in one God, in one Christ, if there are other forms of life there?”, he asked. But he thinks it is only a matter of time until the Vatican has only to reveal what he knows.

Thanks to the James Webb (JWST) space telescope and other extremely advanced research tools, scientists have already found signatures of life beyond the earth.

Most recently, astronomers have used JWST to detect dimethyl sulphide molecules in the atmosphere of a planet known as K2-18B.

On Earth, this chemical substance is produced almost exclusively by life forms such as marine algae, which caused the team to believe that it could be a biosemary of alien life.

Lee expects researchers to soon find evidence of the existence of intelligent aliens, maybe even in the next few months, he said.

Such a disclosure would increase the pressure on the Vatican to make all the records regarding UFO meetings public, he suggests.

Secret military technology?

In addition, publishing this information is important for national security and public safety, he adds, because it is possible that some of these flying objects are not aliens, but rather advanced military technologies handled by global powers.

“What people see in heaven could be authentic extraterrestrial UFOs, but it is also very likely that there are secret military technology years and years before what we think they have.” Lee said.

“I think people in the UFO community need to be aware of it. It's not just about the visit of green man, it's more complicated.”

Pope Francis's successor will be chosen by the Cardinal College, who are all men who have been appointed by the Pope and are usually ordained bishops.

The process of choice, or “Conclavul”,
It usually starts after a mourning period 15 days after the pope's death and may take weeks or months.

This is because the new pope is not chosen until he has obtained at least 90 votes, which can take several voting rounds.

Lee hopes that the next person chosen at the papacy will begin to reveal any information that the Vatican could have about the potential UFOs and aliens.

“I think the public is worth knowing“He said.”We must not be protected from this information. ”
