Krasnoyarsk deputies checked how the Badalykskoye cemetery is contained

The deputies of the city council visited the largest graveyard of the regional center and found out how the cemeteries were landscaped. The event was organized by a commission on urban economy. It is under her control and with the active participation of deputies that issues are resolved on the maintenance and restraint of order on the Krasnoyarsk necropolis.

The first point that the people's deputies visited was the alley at the central entrance. It is through this place that the main part of the visitors will go on the parental day. Here the deputies evaluated the degree of preparation of the graveyard for the upcoming mass visit by its townspeople. All the garbage accumulated after winter has already been exported. This will avoid clutching passages and driveways during cleaning, which citizens usually spend on parental days on the graves of their relatives.

Then the commission moved to the sector, where the new alley of Glory was located. Last year, landscaping work ended here – external lighting networks, toilet cabins were mounted, asphalt concrete driveways were restored and places for container parking were prepared. Recall that on the Alley of Glory people who have special merits to the city and the state, for example, honorary citizens of Krasnoyarsk, heroes of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation, and socialist labor, can be buried.

At a visiting meeting, the head of the Department of City Economy and Transport, Alexander Matsak, told the deputies about the results of the inventory of the Badalyksky cemetery. According to him, this work was carried out in several stages and today is completely completed. As a result, data on almost 260 thousand burials were systematized. Now the department is faced with the task of creating an electronic service available to citizens, with which you can get information about burials. This will help the townspeople find the graves of relatives if the information for some reason has been lost.

However, the main goal of the inventory is to search for burials of participants and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, which no one now cares about. The state intends to take patronage over these burials and worthy to take care of them.

“The audit of the graveyards required more time than we initially planned. Unfortunately, not all military burials of the Soviet period have distinctive signs, so the contractors had to spend significant resources on the search for reliable information. Now this work is ongoing, and it will certainly be completed, ”said the chairman of the relevant commission Andrei Kozikov.

Today, more than two thousand burials of veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Badalyk cemetery have already been identified. As it turned out, when we set the task for the administration six years ago, we were on the right track. The fact is that at the end of last year a law was adopted, according to which the revision must be done on all graveyards. Probably, Krasnoyarsk will be able to fulfill the requirement of this law one of the first in Russia. Now the department experts are comparing the data obtained as a result of the revision with the lists of veterans conducted by the Krasnoyarsk victory memorial so that not a single grave of the heroes who won the war with fascism is left unattended. In 2025, the inventory will also be in the tire cemetery.

Materials on the topic

“It is important to note that the city pays special attention to the preparation of the graveyards for the parental day. Budget funds are allocated for this, however, as well as to maintain cleanliness and order in cemeteries throughout the year. Now we examined the Badalykskoye cemetery, the impressions of the positive. You feel great respect for the honorary citizens of the city, buried on the Alley of Glory, and to ordinary Krasnoyarsk residents who have found peace here. Everything is very clean, well -groomed, ”said the deputy of the City Council Natalya Melnikova.

We add that representatives of the department of the city house also said that in the near future Krasnoyarsk will have a new churchyard – in the territory that is now belonging to the Solontsovsky village council of the Emelyanovsky district. There it is planned to open three sites with a total area of over 150 hectares. So far, work is underway on the approval of the General Plan of the territory.
