The Lidl Polska Bottlekkomaty network in all its stores, of which there are about 900 – we read in a message. This is probably the first large chain of stores, which is ready for the October change of regulations.
Lidl also announced that “He starts an educational campaign on collections.”
From April 2025, bottles that allow customers convenient packaging are available in all Lidl Polska stores.
Since the start of the tests, Lidl Polska has already collected 15 million PET plastic bottles and over 1 million cans, with a total weight of nearly 400 tons. According to the company, the record holder in the collection is the Lidl store in Gogolin.
“We believe that the bailing system is a key step on the way to achieving our environmental goals. We want the collection of packaging to become something natural for our clients. That is why we want them to have the opportunity to get to know today, as well as testing this solution in practice. We are convinced that education along with practical experience is the best way to the success of the whole system,” says Aleksandra Robaszkiewicz, director CSR in Lidl Polska.
