Republican Senator John Kennedy on Sunday on Sunday on Donald Trump and his administration for how Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Salvadorian unfairly deported by Washington, but also for the Republican President's statement that would like to deport some violent criminals who are American citizens.

The Supreme Court asked the US government to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia after Washington acknowledged that it was deported due to an administrative error.

Senator Kennedy (no connection with the former JFK president) in Louisiana was asked in the “Meet The Press” program of NBC News if he believes that the law allows Trump to send American citizens who are criminals in foreign prisons.
“No, lady. Neither do it, nor should, should not be considered adequate or moral. We have our own laws. We should not send prisoners to foreign countries, in my opinion,” he said.
The reaction came in the context in which Trump said he wants to deport some violent criminals who are American citizens to Salvadorian prisons, a measure that, according to experts, would violate American legislation.
Kennedy said he did not see the case of Abrego Garcia as part of a larger model, he said he was wrong, adding that Abrego Garcia should have had a hearing before being sent to El Salvador.
“The administration (Trump) will not recognize this, but it gave it in the bar,” he said.
The United States government states that it does not request the return of Abrego Garcia. His lawyers said he was never accused of any crime and denied the US statements that he was part of the Criminal band MS-13.
Separately, the Supreme Court temporarily forbade the Trump administration on Saturday to deport some Venezuelan migrants that they accused of being members of a band, pursuant to a law rarely used during war.
