The Polish tycoon will develop in India and Brazil. “Energy cheaper than in Europe”

– What has helped us and we always repeat it is the diversification of the group, metals, steel, chemistry, new segments that we implement, closed circulation economy and energy. We are building new projects, new engines that will supply the group's results in the following years. It was also a difficult year when it comes to decisions […]but we can already see the effects of these decisions this year – said Wojciech Kowalczyk, president and general director of the Boryszew Group.
The president also emphasized that he sees the opportunities for the development of electromobility.
– Those who put a cross on electromobility are very wrong because there is a huge acceleration in this area […]. We anticipate that 2026. It will be even greater acceleration of electromobility. Asia, South America, but mainly Asia are those forces that prove and conduct electromobility forward – he added.
At the conference, it was stated that the company is intensively developing production for selected groups of recipients, including in India, Brazil and Mexico.

– In India, we implement various types of productions for certain groups – This market is more favorable in terms of energy and consultation than in Europe. […] We want to scale our business in India, and the number of OMs [jednostek operacyjnych] It is so big there that we get suggestions all the time – said Adam Holewa, a member of the board, director of the automotive segment.

– The second area is South America, in particular Brazil and Mexico. In Brazil, sales are currently growing very much – some double -digit concerns – so a very dynamic market. We also want to develop very much there, we have a lot of contacts – he added.
He pointed out that Mexico is the company's base, a window on the USA and the company is also optimizing there.
In 2024, the Boryszew Group had PLN 110.5 million of net profit of the dominant unit compared to PLN 122.1 million in the same period of the previous year. The group's revenues during this period dropped to PLN 5.12 billion from PLN 5.69 billion a year ago.
In 2024, the eBitda of the group (without one -off events) amounted to PLN 248.8 million, compared to PLN 380.3 million a year earlier.
Investment outlays amounted to PLN 134 million. As stated, the debt level indicator reached the level of 2.5.
The value of new contracts in the automotive segment, obtained in 2024, amounted to EUR 297.3 million.
