Ksenia Larina (real name – Oksana Barsheva) was born in 1963 in Moscow. She graduated from the acting faculty of GITIS. After graduation, she worked as an actress at the Pushkin Theater and at the Satyrikon Theater. After 1991, she left the theater, began to engage in journalism.
Over the years, she was the host at the Nostalzhi radio station, REN TV channel, and the Echo of Moscow radio station.
In 2017, Larina left Russia. According to the former editor-in-chief of the Echo of Moscow, Alexei Venediktov, this happened due to bullying from the Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. Now the journalist lives in Portugal.
