The President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski announced on Friday that Chinese companies, on which Kiev imposed sanctions on that day, were involved in the production of Russian Iskander missiles.

“Today we have expanded our Ukrainian sanctions for almost one hundred subsequent entities – natural and legal persons – most of whom are involved in the production of such bullets as Iskanders that hit our Kharkiv” – wrote Zelanski in social media.
“Many of these entities are Russian, but unfortunately some also come from China,” he added.
Earlier on Friday, Zelanski signed a decree to enter into force of the National Security and Defense Council (RBNIO) on sanctions against 59 natural persons and 60 legal entities, including several enterprises from China.
Chinese companies from high technology and aviation industry industries were on the sanction list: Zhongf Shenying Carbon Fiber Xining, Rui Jin Machinery and Beijing Aviation and Aerospace Xianghui Technology.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected on Friday as unfounded accusations of President Zelanski, who said the day before that China provides Russia with ammunition and explosives and participate in weapons production in Russia. (PAP)
