Kick-off of the match between FC Botoșani and FCSBfrom the 3rd stage of the play-out, was a special one, with a strong emotional charge. The moment was dedicated to Paul-Daniel Adumitroie, a teenager who struggles daily with serious health problems and needs support for vital treatment.

Today's combatants are separated by 3 points: FCSB leads the play-out with 27, and FC Botoșani is in 3rd place, 3 lengths behind.

“A match for hope. A match for Paul”

The game played at the “Municipal” Stadium in Botoșani became more than the headliner of stage #3 of the play-out. The host club organized a humanitarian campaign, in collaboration with the “Blue Souls” Association, to help Paul.

The teenager suffers from autism and other severe conditions, is non-verbal and experiences obsessive-compulsive disorder that affects his daily life. However, there is hope: a medical intervention in Austria, a stem cell transplant, which could greatly improve his condition.

The emotional statement of the FC Botoșani club

Botoșani officials sent a strong message before the match:

A match for hope. A match for Paul! Besides the thought of victory, our boys will also play for Paul. Football brings us together, football unites our positive energies. Football is not just a game… football is LIFE.
20,000 euros… that's all that separates Paul from the chance to lead a normal life. This match becomes a real chance for him.

The initiative is part of a series of humanitarian campaigns in which the Moldovan club has been involved over time. This time, the stakes are huge: raising the money needed for Paul's life-changing treatment.

The association “Blue Souls” takes care of the entire medical process and is with the family, but success depends on the mobilization of the community. Every gesture counts, from donating to sharing the message, to win the “match of life”.

Donations can be made directly to the dedicated accounts to support Paul's treatment:
