The drone show in Krasnoyarsk was canceled due to extremely unfavorable weather conditions.
The mayor's office reported that on the evening of April 12, weather forecasters predict strong wind gusts of up to 15 m/s at the altitude of quadcopters. Cold temperatures and significant precipitation are also expected, which could lead to drones becoming icy and crashing. Under these conditions, holding a drone show is impossible.
“When preparing a presentation, we always take such risks into account. Unfortunately, this time we were unlucky with the weather – a strong gust of wind would simply blow away the drones, which would disrupt the positioning accuracy and ruin the animation. In addition, bad weather makes viewing simply uncomfortable. We hope that we will be able to please Krasnoyarsk residents with bright shows in the future,” the organizers commented on the situation.
Let us remind you that at the end of the working week it got sharply cold in Krasnoyarsk. The weather deteriorated so much that on Saturday morning road workers had to deal with the consequences of snowfall, and traffic police officers had to carry out heavy duty duty.
