In the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, the dogs were biting Maral. This was told by the deputy director of the park for the protection of the territory Ivan Kirillov.

According to him, the inspectors received a message about the wounded deer and a flock of dogs that punished it near the central entrance to the park. When the employees of the security department reached the place, the deer was already dead. He was found in the Laletsky stream literally two meters from the tourist trail in the area of ​​the cliff of the damn finger.

Inspectors determined that the dead deer is a female for about 3 years. The animal died from multiple lane wounds inflicted by dogs.

Ivan Kirillov said that this is the third case of the death of Maral due to the fault of dogs this season, and last year 20 marans died over the winter, including 5 in the area of ​​the cliff of the damn finger.

“A decrease in the death of ungulates this year was facilitated by abnormally early spring. Due to the high temperatures, the snow cover in the foothill of the national park quickly disappeared, which prevented the formation of a snowy infusion and reduced the effectiveness of the hunting of stray dogs. The current situation is radically different from the situation of last season, when Nast led to an increase in dog activity, as a result of which 15 marans died in the short spring period of 2024: 12 in March and 3 in April, ”said the deputy director of the park.

The press service of the Pillars said that the dogs attack animals in the park itself, as well as in its security zone-on the Torgashinsky ridge, on the Yarygin path, next to the Bobrov Log and near the Garden of V.M. Krutovsky.

“Wandering dogs cause irreparable harm to the animal population of the protected area. Every spring the problem is aggravated: from the dog companies that have lost in a pack, not only the inhabitants of the national park become terrible, but also to tourists. The feral dogs are constantly fixed in the recreational zone: in the pass, in the area of ​​the central pillars, at the eastern entrance, they also enter the closed area of ​​the national park, ”said representatives of the park.

To solve the problem, the Krasnoyarsk residents are asked not to feed dogs, and they are also warned that you should not come into contact with them.

“If you want to teach your child a good attitude to animals, then tell him about responsibility for those whom he tames. And better show it by your example: do not leave dogs and cats in the country after the summer season ended and you are leaving for the city; Take a pet to educate, from which others refused; Remove the dog when you walk it in a public place. And remember: according to the rules for visiting specially protected natural territories, it is forbidden to come to the National Park with pets, ”the press service noted.
