This document, which is to be a step preceding the formalization of the contract, aims to indicate the positive attitude of Ukraine to cooperate in this matter.
A few days ago, American partners asked the letter of intent as a temporary solution before the lawyers finally prepare the content of the contract.

The letter of intent is a document in which one or more parties express the desire to cooperate or conclude a contract in the future. It is not legally binding (although it may contain binding elements), but confirms the will to conduct further negotiations or achieving a specific goal. The letter of intent often contains general conditions of the future contract, the scope of cooperation and the expected schedule of activities. It is used, among others in business, in investments, commercial transactions or employment.

The Ukrainian leader also referred to Sunday events in the sums, where over 30 people were killed as a result of the Russian bombing and more than 100 were injured. Zelanski also rejected Moscow's claims that Ukraine was attacking the Russian energy sector. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that such accusations are based on fabricated documents and are part of the disinformation actions on the part of Russia.
Wołodymyr Zelanski also raised the topic of supply of weapons from China to Russia, revealing intelligence information providing cooperation between these countries. According to the transmitted data, the data indicate the supply of materials such as gunpowder and artillery, as well as Chinese participation in the production of weapons in the territory of the Russian Federation.
