Putin praises Musk. He compares him to the Soviet engineer

Speaking on Wednesday to students of the Moscow State University of Technology Bauman, Putin described Musk as a unique visionary, according to the Russian government agency TASS.
“You know, there is such a man – he lives in the United States – Musk, who can be said, goes crazy about Mars,” said Putin.
“Never often such people, charged with a certain idea, appear in a human population,” he added, comparing Musk to the Soviet rocket engineer Sergei Korolewo, who managed the USSR space program during the US Space Race in the 1950s and 1960s.
This is not the first time Putin praised Musk. In an interview with the former Fox News presenter Carlson last year, the Russian president said that “Elon Musk cannot be stopped” and he talked about his desire to “find a common plane” in areas such as artificial intelligence.
Musk, for his part, was accused by Kiev of propagating Kremlin statements about the full -frame invasion of Moscow to Ukraine and spreading pro -Russian propaganda.
The technology entrepreneur, who gained political importance after Trump's support in the presidential election in the US in 2024, condemned the American assistance to Kiev without a clear plan at the end of the war and repeatedly hit the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski.
