In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a regional relay race of the All -Russian Historical Project “Victory Engineers” festival “From the screw!” Was held.
The site for the relay race was the Krasnoyarsk technical school of industrial service. The regional Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and dedicated to people who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian defense system.
The event united volunteers, schoolchildren, students, representatives of industrial enterprises, archival and cultural organizations, as well as authorities. Participants were able to plunge into the atmosphere of that time, studied materials about the state of industry and other sectors of the region’s economy in the pre -war period, during the war and in the post -war period.
During the Great Patriotic War, the Krasnoyarsk Territory was one of the key supports of the country, ensuring the supply of military equipment, ammunition and food. After the evacuation of industry, equipment of 25 large enterprises and 30 thousand workers arrived in the region. New plants were created and existing, such as Sibtyazhmash, Krasmash and others, were expanded.
“In those harsh years, the Krasnoyarsk Territory laid a strong foundation for its production base, which later turned it into one of the leading industrial centers of the country. Our engineers, designers, experts of educational and scientific institutions, without lingering their hands, forged victory. We are obliged to remember their dedication and heroism, and, of course, tell the young generation about it, ”said Vasily Chernov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the region.
The performances of creative groups and the exposition of the military-patriotic center dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and modern developments were supplemented by the event. Among the exhibits, weapons were presented, camouflage networks for the needs of WO, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, the spare parts for which were manufactured by students of the technical school. Young engineers also visited the Borus engineering plant and got acquainted with production.
Recall that the project “Victory Engineers” was launched in 2020 to increase the prestige of the profession of an engineer and preserve historical memory about the labor feat of the people of the Great Patriotic War. The organizer of the relay – the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Territory with the support of the regional branch of the Union of Machine -Builders of Russia in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Fund for the Comprehensive Development of Children and Youth “from the screw!”.
