Russian defense units have destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

A Russian drone attack on the city of Port Odessa from the Black Sea hurt three people during the night, caused fires and damaged houses and civil infrastructure, officials from the southern Ukraine said on Wednesday, reports Reuters.

“The enemy again attacked Odessa with a massive drone attack,” said Oleh Kiper, the governor of the region whose administrative center is the city of Odessa, on Telegram, although the extent of the attack was not clear.

The Ukraine's emergency service said that three people were injured and that several fires had erupted in the city as a result of the attack.

The mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, posted photos depicting a residential building and other structures that were almost destroyed, while in others the emergency workers sifted the rubble and a dog looked behind a pile of wood.
